I organise and compere two regular community events in my local area in South London. I also organise and regularly appear at a comedy showcase across the river in North London.

Melancholy and Raving is a free mental health inspired variety night that has been running since 2014. Prior to the pandemic we had regular monthly use of the upstairs dysfunction room of a local pub in Borough. Unfortunately, we are currently without a regular venue and for 2022 the night will be roughly quarterly. The next gig is on Monday 18th of July at The Roebuck in Borough.

M&R is a space where performers with lived experience of mental distress can showcase their talents as well as offering open mic opportunities to anyone wishing to take part. For more information about this gig email me at melancholyandraving@gmail.com

Diminishing Returns is a free monthly comedy open mic night that has been running since 2016. Prior to the pandemic this event took place in the same venue as Melancholy and Raving and is currently on hold. While not strictly mental health focused, issues relating to the subject are inevitably present in the material of some of the performers.

I encourage people who have attended my workshops and/or courses and would like to further explore comedy in a supportive environment to come along and take part. For more information about this gig email me at diminishingreturnsbookings@gmail.com

Miserable Bitches is a quarterly women only stand-up comedy showcase that has been running since 2019 and currently takes place in the basement of the Rose and Crown pub in Kentish Town.

This is a pay what you want gig where myself and a variable line-up of two other overtly mental comics perform material that directly addresses our collective experience of life with a variety of mental health diagnoses. For more information about this gig email me at miserableb1tches@gmail.com
